Acupuncture: Good For What Ails You!

Updated: Sep 20, 2018

Do you suffer with chronic pain? We now know that acupuncture can help by actually causing the neurons in your brain to change so they are less attuned to the discomfort. There are several different acupuncture techniques that I use to help break up scar tissue, loosen tight myofascia (the muscle coverings), and dull nerve pain as well. Believe it or not, narcotic medications don't do anything for chronic pain after 2-3 months of use. After that time, the body is using it as its natural pain killer, as the natural production has been stopped by the artificial narcotics. Acupuncture can be a useful bridge when weaning off of narcotic pain killers. It also can help treat the root cause of the pain as well.

We see all types of patients for our acupuncture treatments. If you are thinking of trying it, give us a call at 419-872-3250.
